Sion Flyover Deemed Dangerous: Heavy Vehicles Banned Amid Muharram Processions
The Shiv Flyover connecting Sion East and West has been declared dangerous by Central Railway, leading to a ban on heavy vehicles and those over 2.80 meters in height from using it. This advisory comes ahead of Muharram processions on July 17, expected to draw large crowds from Bandra, Kurla, Dharavi, and other areas. The municipality's 'G North' department has urged citizens to avoid traveling on roads in these areas to prevent congestion. Specific routes likely to be affected include 'T Junction' to Kala Nagar, 60 feet road, 90 feet road, S. L. Raheja Marg, and Mahim Causeway.
